Interview mit jungen Studentinnen:
1. Was sind Ihre Träume oder Ziele für die Zukunft? Wie stellen Sie sich Ihr Leben in 5 oder 10 Jahren vor?
2. Wie wichtig ist Ihrer Meinung nach Bildung, um einen guten Job zu bekommen und finanziell unabhängig zu werden?
3. Verspüren Sie Druck von Ihrer Familie oder Ihrem Umfeld, früh zu heiraten oder Kinder zu bekommen? Wie fühlen Sie sich dabei?
4. Welchen Herausforderungen sehen Sie sich gegenüber – oder glauben Sie, dass Sie sich gegenübersehen werden – bei der Erreichung Ihrer Ziele, insbesondere im Hinblick auf Beruf und Unabhängigkeit?
5. Was motiviert Sie, in der Schule zu bleiben, auch wenn es schwierig ist oder das Geld knapp ist? Gibt es jemanden, der Sie inspiriert?
6. Wie stellen Sie sich ein Leben vor, in dem Sie finanziell nicht von den Eltern oder Ihrem Ehemann abhängig bist? Wie würde sich das anfühlen?
7. Wenn Sie anderen Mädchen und jungen Frauen wie Ihnen eine Botschaft senden könnten, was würden Sie sagen, um ihnen zu helfen, an ihre Zukunft zu glauben?
Unser Hilfswerk ermöglicht es philippinischen Kindern und Jugendlichen ohne familiäre und/oder finanzielle Unterstützung, ihre Schul- und Berufsausbildung abzuschließen, was ihnen helfen wird, ihren Lebensunterhalt in der Zukunft entsprechend ihren Talenten, Möglichkeiten und Wünschen zu sichern.

Ein Drittel der philippinischen Bevölkerung ist unter 14 Jahre alt. Die große Armut, insbesondere in den ländlichen Gebieten, führt dazu, dass immer mehr Kinder und Jugendliche nur bei einer Verwandten (der Großmutter) aufwachsen, ohne Vater und oft auch ohne Mutter. Viele Eltern sind gezwungen auszuwandern, um den Lebensunterhalt ihrer Familien zu sichern. Zudem sehen sich viele Eltern gezwungen, ihre Kinder in die Stadt zu schicken, damit diese dort Arbeit finden: in kleinen Betrieben, auf Baustellen, in der Landwirtschaft, bei Familien oder in Hotels.
Von ihren zukünftigen Ehemännern und Vätern verlassen, wandern viele junge Mütter – alleinerziehende Mütter – ins Ausland aus, um dort als Allround-Betreuerinnen und Haushälterinnen ihren Kindern ein würdevolles Leben zu ermöglichen und lassen die Kinder bei ihren Großeltern zurück.
Ausbeutung, Prostitution und Kinderhandel sind an der Tagesordnung – eine bittere Realität, die sich nach den verheerenden Hurrikanen und Erdbeben (Hayan 2013, Odette 2021, viele andere) und der COVID-19-Pandemie noch verschlimmert hat.
To alleviate this need and give a young and ambitious generation a perspective after school, we founded in 2025 A HEART FOR THE PHILIPPINES.
We work for the young generations -
100% of donations will benefit projects in poor regions and situations of need.
All members of our association work for free. Travel expenses or costs are not paid with donations. The low administrative costs are financed entirely by membership fees.
We control what happens to your DONATIONS:

In close cooperation with local children's homes and schools, we support those children and young people who do not have the financial support of their families.

We support children and young people by paying school fees and also by providing or arranging accommodation.

We work closely with various local training centers.

To increase the impact of our work, we are networked with organizations pursuing similar goals both in Switzerland and the Philippines.

A HEART FOR THE PHILIPPINES - stands for strength, skill and solidarity.
Qualities that we want to provide with our commitment to the particularly neglected part of Philippine society.
Many young people cannot find a good job without completing an education because they find themselves without guidance, support and financial support.
Many young people and women in poor areas are unable to make the transition to working life without financial support and assistance, so that they can find work that allows them to live an independent and dignified life.
To ensure that we reach the rural population of the Visayas with our commitment to education, we work closely with local schools.
The association A HEART FOR THE PHILIPPINES has the following objectives:
Basic Needs
directly or indirectly promote food, health and economic aid for the needy population of the Philippines, especially children, young people, young mothers (single mums) and parents;
Educational Projects
support the implementation of educational and vocational training projects for children, young people and parents, to develop initiatives that respect people and the natural environment.
